Raimundos was formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Raimundo Fagner, bassist Canindé, drummer Charlie Brown, and guitarist André Bressan. The band's early sound was heavily influenced by American rock bands like Guns N' Roses and Van Halen, as well as Brazilian music traditions. During this period, they played gigs in Brasília and surrounding areas, gradually building a loyal fan base.
