Odin requires the phone to be in Download Mode (Volume Down + Volume Up + USB). If your M01 is hard-bricked (black screen, no vibration, detected only as "9008" in device manager), Odin will never recognize the device.

Before you brick your phone, enable OEM Unlocking in Developer Options and toggle "USB Debugging" . This doesn’t help with EDL, but it gives you more repair options via fastboot. Odin requires the phone to be in Download
