Ryou has always been a walking contradiction—a handsome, respected man who finds freedom only in a skirt. Episode 6 reveals that his "Kedamono" persona is less about sex and more about validation. He confesses that for years, he felt invisible to women because he was “too perfect” in male mode. Only when cross-dressing could he observe true reactions. Shizuka was the first person to see through both his disguises (the male mask and the female mask) to the lonely person underneath. His kneeling pose is the visual thesis of the episode: the predator kneels to be accepted.

As the episode ends with Shizuka whispering, “I wanted to see you too,” it becomes clear that the real beast was never inside the skirt—it was the loneliness they both wore like a second skin.
