Nvidia Shield: Password Protect
The first line of defense is a Restricted Profile. This allows you to create a "walled garden" where only specific apps are visible and settings are locked behind a four-digit PIN.

This is an advanced method that doesn't lock the Shield's UI, but locks the Shield out of the internet. Without internet, a streaming device is useless.
