The remaster does not fix the slow tutorial (you play as Haytham for 4 hours before becoming Connor) nor the awkward parkour that sometimes sticks to the wrong tree branch. But for immersion in American history, blizzards in Lexington, and running through the Boston Tea Party with a blade, nothing else compares.
