Participants may write down specific "bad habits" or "obstacles" on paper (often referred to as "chits") and offer them to the fire to be neutralized.

Once the fire cools, collect the sacred ash (Vibhuti). Apply a pinch on your forehead (Agya chakra). This ash is a powerful healer and protector per Sahaja Yoga teachings.
