UberPie’s writing is polarizing. Dialogue ranges from sharp, Tarantino-esque exchanges to intentionally uncomfortable degradation. The Redux version, however, shows a maturation of voice. Characters like the manipulative Claire or the broken Lila now have more nuanced motivations, turning what felt like edgy shock-value in 2019 into genuine tragic character studies in 2025.
