The story begins on the island of Bukovo, during the wedding of Princess Miroslava. Following an ancient tradition, the princess sings a "Song of the Dragon" to honor a beast that once terrorized the land. However, the last dragon was supposedly slain years ago. As she sings, she accidentally summons Arman, the last surviving dragon-shifter.
