The game was the sequel to the 1997 game Postal, which had already garnered attention for its over-the-top violence and dark humor. Building on the foundations laid by its predecessor, Postal 2 took players on a wild ride through the fictional town of Paradise, USA, where they controlled the foul-mouthed, murderous, and mayhem-loving Douche (or Douchebags, depending on the player's preference).
