Is The Legend of Bruce Lee a great film? No. It is a great attempt . The production value is distinctly mid-2000s made-for-TV. The English dubbing is laughably bad (watch it in Cantonese or Mandarin with subtitles). The subplots are often soap-operatic.

For relevance, a few fights were taken out of the above visual; the Garlic Jr. and Other World Tournament filler sagas were completely removed.
