Born on May 16, 1946, in Madrid, Spain, Camilo Sesto began his musical journey at a young age. He formed his first band, Los Dayson, in the early 1960s and started performing in local bars and clubs. Sesto's big break came in 1968 when he joined the Spanish rock band, Barón Rojo, as the lead vocalist. However, it was his solo career that catapulted him to stardom.
