– Run MCPR again. It should say "No McAfee products found" .

The process typically takes 2–5 minutes. Do not interrupt it. If successful, you will see: "McAfee products have been removed from your computer."

You cannot remove a running security driver because it protects itself; but you cannot stop it without risking system instability. MCPR uses a trusted, signed process to orchestrate safe removal.
