The term "Fiery Lioness" suggests a duality. On one hand, you have the lioness: a symbol of strength, community, and predatory grace. On the other, the "fiery" element adds a layer of passion and unpredictability. In popular media, this translates to creators who are unapologetically themselves—vibrant, spirited, and often playful. Japanese anime provided the original template. Series like Sailor Moon featured heroines in floofy skirts who saved the universe. Kill la Kill weaponized "cute schoolgirl uniforms" into sentient power suits. Even Studio Ghibli’s Princess Mononoke presented a feral wolf-princess who was simultaneously terrifying and adorable. The West took note: cute visuals plus a lioness heart equals cult immortality.
Today, the archetype is not dictated by Hollywood—it is crowdsourced. On TikTok, the hashtag #FieryLioness has millions of views, showcasing young women who dress in pastel Kawaii fashion while delivering scathing political critiques. The "Fiery Lioness" is a compelling symbol within the FemJoy narrative. Lions are often associated with qualities such as courage, strength, and a fierce protective instinct. When these characteristics are attributed to a female character, it amplifies the perception of her as a powerful and formidable individual.
Your color palette should mix pastels (pink, lavender, mint) with hot colors (neon orange, electric yellow, deep red). Your character design should juxtapose soft shapes (round eyes, fluffy hair) with sharp accessories (spiked choker, combat boots).

Gonna definitely give the cla NX version plug a try. Another mixing engineer I follow recommended the abbey road studio version. Maybe because it offers the surround sound capabilities. Waves is currently offering a NX version package that contains all of the nx plugins excluding the abbey road studios version for $79 USD. I think you’re spot on about those ambience settings on the cla nx plug. It would probably be better for to keep mine between 60-75% since I have enough reverb already baked into some of the samples I use. Seems like the cla nx plug would be useful in determining if you’re overdoing it with reverb too. I plan on turning off the effects on all of my tracks and redo them through the nx plugs. Good video.
