“Are you ready to go / 'Cause the rhythm is flow / The bass is kickin'...”

“Welcome to the twilight zone / Commit to the dance / Welcome to the twilight zone / Move your body to the rhythm of the bass.”

It is repetitive. It is loud. It is nonsensical. And it is absolutely brilliant.

The official music video for “Twilight Zone” is a time capsule of early 90s aesthetics. Directed by (and featuring a cameo from) Jean-Paul De Coster, the video is shot in a high-contrast, black-and-white (with occasional neon accents) style.

The repetition of the phrase "Twilight Zone" immediately conjures the famous Rod Serling TV series—a place of surrealism and unknown dimensions. By co-opting that phrase, 2 Unlimited turned the dance floor into a parallel universe. When you enter the club and this track drops, you are no longer in the real world. You are in the Twilight Zone .
