Ubuntu has strict ptrace limits. For huge datasets, edit /etc/security/limits.conf :
Add this alias to your ~/.bashrc :
tec360lm -install
Point it to your license server or upload your license file. For a local standalone license, place the .lic file in $TECPLOT_HOME/license/ .
