However, officers from traffic (IRTS) argued that their promotions were historically faster, and merging with engineering services (IRSE) placed them lower. The IRMS seniority list includes separate columns for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD reservations. However, inter-se seniority among reserved category candidates is based on their original rank in the merit list, not reservation category.
