Further down the line, we meet —a former Xiaolin warrior who sold his soul for power. Chase is the "cool villain." He is a regal, powerful, dragon-man hybrid who respects strength above all. Unlike Jack's bumbling, Chase is cold, calculating, and almost impossible to defeat. The episode where the monks travel back in time to see Chase’s fall from grace is widely considered the best in the series.
