This yields the Silent Assassin medal (+5,000 points) and is the only way to beat the mission without firing a shot at the Colonel directly.

Colonel Yurenko requires three headshots to kill (or one shot to an exploding barrel). He stands directly next to the helicopter fuel line. This is a trap. Alternatively, shoot a nearby object (like a laptop or fuse box) to lure a guard toward the fan's location. This yields the Silent Assassin medal (+5,000 points)

: Shoot the guard while they are positioned in front of the fan. The impact of the bullet or the fan's rotation (if activated by shooting the control) will cause the body to be sucked in or pushed through, effectively "disposing" of it and preventing other guards from finding the body.
