The term "PSX-XBOO BIOS" is slightly misleading. There is no official BIOS named that. Instead, it refers to one of two things:

(e.g., SCPH-1001.BIN , SCPH-5500.BIN ) – Because PSX-XBOO can also dump a console’s original BIOS over the serial link. In that context, the “PSX-XBOO BIOS” might mean the dumped file.

Requires desoldering the original "Mask ROM" and replacing it with a flashable chip (like the SST39VF040) on a custom adapter.
