The most technical achievement of this build is the proprietary "Lacuna Engine" patch. The original game suffered from catastrophic memory leaks in the "Hall of Forgotten Quests." When you opened a door to a cancelled quest, the game would often crash. Passion Portal reverse-engineered the original binaries to create a dynamic caching system. In v0.9, the Hall now runs at a locked 60 FPS, but with a deliberate twist: textures of "lost" games flicker in and out of existence, simulating digital decay.
