For audiophiles using USB DACs (Digital-to-Analog Converters) or high-end streaming devices, bit-perfect playback is non-negotiable. Yams provides that out of the box. You can optionally enable transcoding (to MP3 or OGG) for mobile users on limited data plans, but the choice remains yours.
