If your AX3 is connected to the internet, it can download updates directly from Huawei’s servers.
Early batches of the AX3 shipped with firmware version 10.0.x.x that had stability issues, particularly with Apple devices (iPhones dropping connection) and Intel Wi-Fi 6 cards (slow handoffs). Later firmware versions (11.x.x.x and above) fixed these issues, added VPN passthrough improvements, and introduced integration.
