"Asterix and Obelix's Mission: Cleopatra" is a French-German animated film released in 2002. The movie is directed by Mohamed Fawzi and produced by Marc Shaiman. It is based on the popular comic book series by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. The story takes place in ancient Egypt, where Julius Caesar has asked the Gaulish village of indomitable warriors to help him build a palace for Cleopatra, the Queen of Egypt.

The film begins with Julius Caesar requesting the help of the Gaulish village to build a magnificent palace for Cleopatra. The Gauls, led by Getafix, are hesitant at first, but eventually agree to take on the task.
