Released in 2012 by publisher Game Mill Entertainment, Country Dance All Stars was the sequel to Country Dance on the Wii. It was the first country music rhythm game to hit the Xbox 360, utilizing the Kinect sensor for motion tracking.
Originally released as a Kinect-required title, Country Dance All Stars brought a distinct Nashville flair to the living room. Unlike its pop-centric competitors, it focused exclusively on chart-topping country hits. The game features a tracklist spanning various eras of the genre, including songs from superstars like Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Lady A, and Zac Brown Band. The gameplay utilizes the Kinect sensor to track full-body movements, challenging players to mirror on-screen dancers in routines that blend traditional line dancing with modern choreography.
Released by GameMill Publishing and developed by Land Ho! (using the same Kinect technology as Dance Central ), Country Dance All Stars was designed as the ultimate competitor to Dance Dance Revolution for the bro-country era. The base game features licensed tracks from legends like ("Get Rhythm"), Shania Twain ("Man! I Feel Like a Woman!"), and contemporary stars like The Band Perry ("If I Die Young"). The retail game is buggy without updates. For the JTAG/RGH version, you need Title Update #3 (TU3). Place the TU_1C422KV_000000K000000.000000000000O file into: Hdd1\Content\0000000000000000\4D530A4A\000B0000\ Pro tip: Use Aurora Dashboard ’s built-in TU manager. It will auto-detect the correct update from online databases. Ensure the TU is marked as "Active." Released by GameMill Publishing and developed by Land Ho
Why would someone choose to play this game on a modified console rather than buying a disc? There are several distinct advantages for the Jtag/RGH user.
Physical discs degrade over time. Scratches, rot, and laser burn can render a disc unreadable. On a Jtag/RGH console, Country Dance All Stars is installed directly to the internal Hard Drive or an external USB drive.
You can rip the disc directly to your internal or external hard drive, saving your Kinect sensor from the lag sometimes caused by a spinning disc.
