The Epson L380 is a popular multi-function ink tank printer. Like many Epson models, it features a waste ink pad that absorbs excess ink during cleaning cycles. Once this pad reaches its capacity, the printer locks itself with a (often error code 0x69 or similar). The only way to reset this counter without physically replacing the pads is by using a Resetter Utility (also known as a Waste Ink Counter Reset Tool or Adjustment Program). If you run a small office or print frequently, consider physically replacing the waste ink pad (cost ~$5-10) and then resetting. For a quick fix, the resetter works—but remember to eventually service the pad. Always keep a backup of your printer’s original driver before running any third-party tool.
