If you are running 14.0.4.33 , you are already on the for Mastercam X5 (Update 4). No further patches exist. Mastercam 2023 and later fully support Windows 11
Mastercam X5 introduced new 3D toolpaths designed for higher efficiency, including early versions of high-speed surface roughing and finishing.
Staying on V.14.0.4.33 indefinitely is risky. Modern CNC controllers (Heidenhain TNC 640, FANUC 31i-B5) use high-speed smoothing algorithms that X5 cannot output natively. Furthermore, Windows security updates may eventually break the HASP licensing system.
